Your Word is My Light

Your Word is light for me, I thank You, Lord, for truth and grace; It guides my steps each day, And keeps my heart within Your ways.

Teach me Your holy way, And give me joy to follow You; Your promises remain, Your every word is firm and true.

When trouble weighs me down, Your Word revives my weary soul; I call to You in prayer, Your faithful love will make me whole.

Your Word lights up my path, A lamp to guide my feet each night; I thank You for Your truth, That leads me onward in Your light.

At midnight I give thanks, For all Your judgments, good and right; Seven times each day I praise, And bless Your name with pure delight.

Great peace is theirs, O Lord, Who love Your law and walk Your way; My hope is in Your Word, And I will praise You all my days.

To Father, Spirit, Son, All thanks and praise forever be; Your Word shall be our joy, From age to age eternally. Amen.
