Be Still

In the chaos of my worries When my heart begins to race You whisper in the silence Come and seek My peaceful face All my striving and my struggles Fade away when I draw near In the stillness of Your presence Every burden disappears

Be still and know my God is near Be still and know that my God is here I'll let go of all my fears You've been faithful through the years Be still and know that You are God Be still and know

When the storms of life surround me And I cannot see the way I confess my heart has wandered From Your truth, I've gone astray In the quiet of surrender I find strength I've never known In the calm of Your forgiveness I am never alone

Be still and know that my God is near Be still and know that my God is here Let go of all your fears You've been faithful through the years Be still and know that You are God Be still and know

Lord, I've made so many mistakes Turned away from what is true But Your mercy never fails me And Your love makes all things new Change my heart and make me willing To walk humbly in Your ways In the stillness of repentance I will offer You my praise You are sovereign over mountains You are ruler of the sea You are Lord of every nation You are everything to me In my weakness, You are strong In my doubt, You sing Your song Be still, be still And know that You are God

Be still and know that my God is near Be still and know that my God is here I'll let go of all my fears You've been faithful through the years Be still and know that You are God Be still and know that You are Good

In the stillness I will trust You In the quiet I will rest You are God and You are faithful You are God and I am blessed Be still and know Be still and know That You are Good Be still and know That You are God
